Thank you everyone for a very successful and fun event, held on September 27, 2018! To help celebrate the coming of Fall, we gathered at the beautiful Tydeman Farm barn in Germantown, NY, which had been generously opened to us by hosts Lyndsay and Brian Shea. This year, our Benefit helped support youth programming at Common Ground, including Raise the Age initiatives and Restorative Justice practices.
Although the evening was a bit chilly, the warmth of guests helped fill our room, as we engaged in animated conversation, shared great food and looked forward to another coming year. Board President Cleveland Samuels offered a wonderful repast of Jamaican dishes and the Sushi Chef from AFS Sushi, Glenmont Price Chopper created a gorgeous and delicious display, donated in part and enjoyed by both vegetarians and fish lovers alike! Major benefactors, Fluff: An Alpaca Boutique, Bank of Greene County New York and individual anonymous donors, helped make this event possible, together with the generosity of our volunteer mediators and community guests. Together, we raised almost $9,000.00!
